Product Description:

  • Isolated TTL to RS485 module, signal mutual conversion between RS485 and TTL, UART single-chip microcomputer, lightning-proof
  • This product adopts a high-performance isolation chip to achieve the perfect isolation of the power supply and the signal on both sides of TTL, RS485, super anti-jamming capability. Wide power supply range (3.0V ~ 5.5V) achieves the perfect compatibility of 3.3V and 5.0V systems and can match the communication signals of 3.3V or 5.0V. All the components are imported, powerful.
  • This module achieves mutual signal conversion between TTL and RS485. However,  we must know that the 485 is a half-duplex communication, which can be bidirectional communication, but cannot communicate simultaneously in both directions, must take turns alternately. In other words, each end of the communication channel can be the sending end or the receiving end, but only one transmission direction can the information at the same time.
  • The module perfectly realizing the automatic flow control of RS485 signal and the automatically switches of send-receive direction. The module support baud rate: 110 ~ 256000bps

  • (6)Having RXD, TXD signal indicators, clearly monitor the situation of sending -receiving.
Module Features:
  • (1)This module takes better account of the 485 bus lighting protection design and anti-jamming design, and applies isolated chips to achieve the isolation of power and signal and the bus protection. The module has high EMC (electromagnetic compatibility)and EMI (electromagnetic interference) performance. In the wild long-distance transmission, the module connect the "Ground" side to the earth, which can make a great difference in anti-interference and lightning, making 485 bus more secure. For indoor short-distance transmission, no need to connect the ground to the earth.
  • (2)Using the standard 2.54 pitch design, convenient for further development.
  • (3)Having a 120 ohm matching resistor, shorting R0 to enable matching resistors, It's recommended that shorting it when for long-distance transmission.
  • (4)Supporting multi-machine communication. There are at least 128 nodes can be connected in the same network.
  • (5)Hot-swappable, plug signal does not appear the phenomenon of death.
  • (6)With anti-jamming alignment and layout, effectively prevent signal interference.
